Bishop Elie A. Buconyori Ph. D. are the Rev. Karuba Macinda M. Div. and leaders of Hope Africa University. Dr. Buconyori is the Vice-Chancellor of the university.Rev.  Karuba, by appointment of the Free Methodist Church in Congo, has been engaged as Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs. 

Both men have been involved with the planning and development of the school since its inception.                           

Additional Staff News

Japhet Nsanze will be the new Financial Officer, returning to the University post he held for two years in Kenya.

Linet Kasaysa has been appointed librarian. In Kenya she was the receptionist/secretary. Karen Parson, Assistant Librarian at Spring Arbor University in Michigan, will be going to HAU in Bujumbura in the spring to train Linet and others and to supervise the reestablishment of the library.
